About Glucose:
Glucose syrup defined as “A purified and concentrated aqueous solution of nutritive saccharides which derived from starch”, and having the characteristics of dry matter not less than 70%, Dextrose equivalent (DE), are expressed as d-glucose, not less than 20% based on dry matter and sulphated ash content are not more than 1% dry basis. Glucose offers alternative functional properties to sugar, as well as economic benefits and primarily used as sweetener, thickener and moisture-retaining agent.
