About Fructose:

Fructose, which also called “fruit sugar” is a monosaccharide that is naturally found in fruit, honey, agave and most roof vegetables. It has the sweetest taste compared to sucrose and glucose, yet has the least impact on the blood sugar. Fructose offers alternative functional properties to sugar and used as sweetener, flavor enhancer, humectant and flavor development, as well as contributes to freezing-point depression and osmotic stability. It is widely used in carbonated beverages, baked goods, canned fruits, jams and jellies and dairy products.
